Detector

It was found that the settings for the clamp and sample time for the new CCD are wrongly set by BIAS when it starts up (they are set correctly in the CCD controller). The effect of this is that the read-out time for the CCD is $\sim$90 sec. Tests were made to check the gain, read-out noise and linearity with the proper values for the clamp and sample time. The read-out time with these settings is reduce to $\sim$80 sec.

Various changes were made to the software on the CCD control card that is used with the multi-window photometry program. This has removed a lot of the problems using the BIAS CCD control program in the normal observing set-up (mostly commands that were not working properly). Some final tests will be made to see if everything works with both the multi-window photometry software and the normal BIAS program (which currently uses a different control card), such that the same control card can be used for both.

The procedures to test the CCD, and analyze and present the results on the web have now been fully implemented. See
