The installation of the mechanical part of the ADC turned out to be complicated due to some (partly undocumented) modifications that had been made to the adapter in the past.
Possible options were discussed with Niels Michelsen (CUO) who will design a mechanical support unit for the FIES ADC. The TCS has been identified as the best candidate to serve as the control program for the ADC. Aarhus will provide a control program to operate the ADC in engineering mode, which can serve as a basis for the TCS version.
