A document describing the basic user requirements for a dedicated quick-look and `pipeline' reduction package was written.
There is now a sufficiently large set of data obtained with FIES that can serve as a first test bench for developing and testing the automated data processing. The development of the reduction package has started and already various parts of the reduction package and its graphical user interface have been made, and are being tested.
