Observational Data

• NOT Data Archive at Aarhus University

  The main platform for browsing and downloading data taken with the Nordic Optical Telescope is the NOT Data Archive, hosted and maintained by Aarhus University. This interface provides access to images taken from 2007 up to the one-year proprietary limit and includes raw science and calibration frames and FIEStool-reduced data for all FIES spectra.

  The data can be filtered by using a wide range of parameters, including file name or file range, object name, observation date, coordinates, wavelength range, instrument, observing mode, proposal title or proposal ID, principal investigator, and other metadata.

  NB: Please note that this archive interface is not managed by the NOT staff. Questions regarding its use should be addressed using the contact information provided on the webpage.

• NOT FITS-header archive

  Our "classical" and locally hosted NOT FITS-Header Archive provides detailed access to raw observations obtained from 2007 up to the one-year proprietary limit. This interface is particularly useful for comprehensive searches requiring more detailed metadata or finer search granularity.

  Please note that only raw FITS files are available through this service. Files can be downloaded individually by clicking on the file name, selecting Preview, and then clicking the Download button. Bulk downloads and reduced data products are not available through this archive. For these options, use the NOT Data Archive instead.

  • The IACOB database, which holds reduced spectra from FIES@NOT (reduced with FIEStool) and HERMES@MERCATOR, of Galactic massive OB-type stars.
