NOTCam Pupil Masks
The NOTCam stop/pupil mask wheel can carry up to 16 masks. We have the
following such masks in hand:
- Five annular ring discs in small masks from 13mm to 17mm diameter
in 1mm increments.
- Four additionally made small masks: 5mm, 6mm, 7mm and 9mm diameter
intended for very bright objects to diminish the telescope aperture.
Preliminary calibration shows that:
- 5 mm stop gives about 10% transmission
- 6 mm stop gives about 15% transmission
- 7 mm stop gives about 22% transmission
- 9 mm stop gives about 38% transmission
- Four Hartmann masks: Up, Down, Left, Right
