Photometric mode

• Remove the calcite plate from the beam by pushing the knob IN.
  
  
• The highest time resolution in this mode is about 2 seconds.
  
  
• Transformation from instrumental to standard UBVRI magnitudes (tentative, for accurate transformation observe your own standards!):
  
  U - B = 0.992 (U - B)_o + C₁
  B - V = 1.170 (B - V)_o + C₂
  V - R = 0.995 (V - R)_o + C₃
  V - I = 1.150 (V - I)_o + C₄
  V = V_o - 0.05(B - V)_o + C₅
  
  where C₁ - C₅ are the zero-points determined on each night from standard star observations.
