As seen in Sect. 2.1 & 2.2, there were many problems with the electronics of the building in this semester. One thing that complicated these problems was the lack of documentation, both of the original design as well as of modifications that had apparently been made later. This both made it very difficult to trace the problem and increased the time needed to repair things. Potentially the most worrying part is that many of the electronic parts of both the building and the telescope have been installed more than 15 years ago, and many of the spares are of a similar age.
