Safety

Following the installation of an improved system for the reception of radio signals we have bought a base station for the service building and two receivers for the cars. The base station has been installed and the radios for the cars will be installed in the near future.

The issue of the roads to the observatory often being officially closed when they are in principle passable and can be used by the staff from the observatories was discussed in more detail in the CCI Observatory Sub-Commission meeting where progress was reported in negotiating with the local authorities.
