MOSCA * Setting bias voltages: The replacement CCDs of MOSCA have shown variable bias level, meaning that the bias voltages have been adjusted almost every thermal cycle. Together with Jacob, a new version of the "bias level"-script was provided. The new script also updates the "ccdrc"-file, in addition to the previous version, which only gave the proposed new values.
*Added a plot of MOSCA shutter delay to demonstrate the minimum integration time.
ToDo: Upgrade the focus script in such way that it will find the focus-field in a similar way as with ALFOSC, takes and analyses the data and changes the telescope focus to the new best focus.
The bias levels of the MOSCA detectors have shown some variability, especially between observing runs. This makes viewing images, especially those with low background levels, rather difficult as the contrast is very different in each CCD. A script has been written that automatically checks the levels and makes it easy to adjust the bias offsets.
