A new Atlas Copco SF2 air compressor motor for the primary mirror
support system has been purchased as spare. The current unit was
bought 10 yr ago as spare, and replaced the unit that broke down in
September 2001. The new spare should prevent a possible 
2 week
down-time period if the current 10 yr old unit also brakes down.
